Journey

It’s been quite a journey. My brother and I dreamt of this more than a decade ago as little kids. Only mere steps away from putting our foot through the door in comics and animation as business owners. CCX started so long ago as just a thought.. a dream.

We wanted to make black superheroes and black characters that related to people like us and we wanted to do it our way. Technology and the times we live in has given us an opportunity to be great.. and that’s all we ever wanted was an opportunity.

Growing up we never had heroes or characters that look like us and were created by people of color and told stories that resonated with us as black kids. But we have a shot at bringing our stories to life and share them with the world. Win, lose, or draw, I will be proud that we put ourselves out there and show the world what we’ve got.

Just two young black men with a dream that almost died because of the gatekeepers.. don’t let your dreams die. If you believe in it, go after it with all you have until you can’t anymore.
